Abstract

Der vorliegende Bericht bietet einen Überblick über die wichtigsten Kennzahlen und Trends im Bereich Tabak‐ und verwandte Erzeugnisse sowie sonstige Nikotinerzeugnisse in Österreich. Die arbeitsanleitende Fragestellung lautet: Wie sieht die Situation hinsichtlich Konsum und gesundheitlicher Folgen in Österreich aus – insbesondere bezüglich der Aspekte Ausmaß, soziodemo- grafische Struktur, Entwicklung und Trend sowie europäischer Vergleich? ******* The aim of this report is to present the epidemiology of the consumption of tobacco products, tobacco related products and other nicotine products in Austria as. The research question is: How does the situation look like regarding consumption of these products and its health consequences in Austria? Aspects that are looked at especially are dimensions, socio‐demographic aspects, developments and trends, as well as the European context.
