Abstract

In the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, National Public
Health Institutes (NPHIs) have the potential to undertake novel roles and new mandates. Some key strategies for NPHIs to help foster Health for all Policies include: building new coalitions, nurturing co-benefits, and expanding evaluation practices. By fostering new partnerships towards achieving public health goals, NPHIs in Europe can work to overcome present and future crises. Central to these partnerships is recognising the reciprocal relationship between health
and other policy areas for building more resilient healthcare systems and societies.
