Abstract

Dieser unter der Federführung von GÖG-Autor/-innen erschienene WHO-Bericht untersucht die fünf länderübergreifenden Kooperationsinitiativen Baltic Procurement Initiative, Beneluxa Initiative, Fair and Affordable Pricing (FAAP), Nordic Pharmaceuticals Forum und Valletta Declaration in Europa, die zur Verbesserung des Zugangs zu Arzneimitteln zusammenarbeiten. Diese Initiativen kooperieren beim Informationsaustausch, bei Horizon Scanning (Früherkennung von Medikamenten in der Pipeline), der Nutzenbewertung (Health Technology Assessment / HTA), der gemeinsamen Beschaffung bzw. den gemeinsamen Preisverhandlungen. Der Bericht untersucht Herausforderungen wie auch förderliche Faktoren und bietet eine Checkliste für erfolgreiche Kooperation an. *******
This WHO report co-authored under the lead of GÖG assesses five government-led cross-country collaborations Baltic Procurement Initiative, Beneluxa Initiative, Fair and Affordable Pricing, Nordic Pharmaceuticals Forum and Valletta Declaration, which aim to improve access to essential medicines through joint activities. These cover activities including information sharing, horizon scanning (to identify candidates for medicines in the pipeline), health technology assessment (HTA), joint pricing/reimbursement negotiations and joint procurement of medicines. The report investigates challenges and facilitating factors and concludes with a checklist of prerequisites for successful cross-country collaborations.
