Die Geneva Charter for Well-Being betont die Bedeutung von Investitionen in Gesundheitsförderung. In Österreich ist die Kapazitätsentwicklung für Gesundheitsförderung ein Ziel der Gesundheitsförderungsstrategie. Der vorliegende Beitrag beschreibt Lehrinhalte in Aus- und Weiterbildung zu Gesundheitsförderung. Die weitere Professionalisierung von Gesundheitsförderung und die Anpassung an internationale Standards werden als zentrale Entwicklungsperspektiven hervorgehoben.
